Senior HW Engineer

Role Overview and Responsibilities:

  • As a member of our Hardware team, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving our next-generation hardware platform initiatives. You will lead the design of our next-generation platforms and ensure seamless integration across our diverse technological disciplines.
  • Work closely with other R&D members (FPGA, mechanics, optics, SW, and system engineers), ensuring effective communication and project alignment.

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

  • Education: B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or related fields (leading universities – an advantage).
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of high-speed board design-related experience.
  • Technical Skills:
    • High-speed design of > 10Gbps lines.
    • HW experience in Microcontrollers, DDR, and FPGA.
    • Experience in  layout design of high-speed lines (micro / buried vias, back drill vias) 
  • Experience in leading a complex HW design including microcontrollers, FPGA, and high-speed electronics)

Desired Skills:

  • Systems Integration: Prior experience in multidisciplinary systems.
  • Analog: Prior experience with high-speed analog and electro-optical components.
  • Experience leading complex HW platforms that collaborate digital, HS speed, and analog design.
  • Embedded Communication: Familiarity with high-speed interfaces USB 3.0, PCIe – a significant advantage
  • Experience in the simulation of high-speed layout
