Role Overview:
As a Senior Software Team Leader, reporting to the VP of R&D, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving our software initiatives, ensuring seamless integration across our diverse technological disciplines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership: Direct and mentor our full-stack software team, emphasizing both product excellence and personal growth.
- Collaboration: Work closely with subcontractors, ensuring effective communication and project alignment.
- Hands-On Development: While in a leadership role, expect to dive into the codebase, providing both guidance and hands-on expertise.
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
- Academic: B.Sc. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years leading software teams.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, C#, ASP.NET, and Linux (Ubuntu). Demonstrated experience in setting up CI/CD workflows and developing RESTful APIs.
- Security: A solid grasp of user authentication and management practices.
- Front-End Development: Familiarity with UI/UX principles, HTML 5, JS, REST/JSON, and React or similar frameworks.
- Embedded Systems: Experience with real-time embedded platforms will be considered a significant advantage.
- AI co-pilot tool experience: Experience with GitHub Co-pilot, or similar AI code-generation tools.
Desired Skills:
- Systems Integration: Prior experience in multidisciplinary systems.
- Networking: A deep understanding of networking concepts, with experience in developing networking-related software or in-depth knowledge of network protocols and infrastructure.
- Design Collaboration: Experience working alongside designers to define user scenarios and stories.
- Platform Development: Familiarity with Docker and container technologies.
